If Rangers were down 6-1 15 min in to third then I would let it slide, but when your team is up 2-1 and just finished first I think it is a tad too soon to wallow in self-pity.

It's not self pity. This is a game the Rangers tend to lose, specifically to the Isles. I remember a game last year or 2 years ago when we had 2-0 lead dominated play, the Islanders came back and dominated play took a 3-2 lead and I think we got a fluky goal and lost 4-3 in a shootout. Except we started the ****** play early today.

That was a different game, and it was two years ago, what relevance does it have on this game?

That point gives Tavares 60. Second quickest player to 60 points this season. On pace for 95. Anyone think he can catch up to Crosby and make things interesting? 8 point spread w/ 32 games left. I don't think he will, but I think he has the chance to make it interesting.

JT is a stud. Love him as a player. I don't even care if he is an Islander. Guy is electric to watch.
