I haven't seen that movie in about 15-20 years. But really, it's a good option as opposed to watching the Ducks do the same thing over and over again. At least you get to laugh and have a good time watching the movie versus feeling angry or depressed after watching a Ducks game.
There's personal growth in the movie. Not so much for this team.

Leason actually hit someone! I feel like a proud parent.

I’m impressed Cutter managed to do something with the Ross suicide pass

The 4 players I mentioned (Perreault/Tracey/Gaucher/Myatovic) were all top 34 picks and all look like complete busts.

That’s objectively bad drafting to not get 1 roster player out of those 4 which looks possible at this juncture

If Pastujov or Sidorov don’t pan out it’s not bad drafting.

That’s my point. We’re now relying on the 3rd/4th rounders to pull off a miracle and pan out because we went 0/4 on the late 1sts we acquired

I don't think you realize the talent drop between a top-10 pick and picks from 20 +. Source: What's an NHL draft pick worth?

Anaheim has invested in a several top-10 forward selections. That's where the bulk of our talent should be shining.

2019: C Zegras, 9th OA
2021: C Mac, 3rd OA
2022: LW Cutter, 5th OA (via Trade for 2020 6th OA RD Drysdale)
2023: C Carlsson, 2nd OA
2024: RW Sennecke, 3rd OA

Here is the lone Ducks' defenseman drafted in the top-10 during the Murray and Verbeek rebuilds:
2022: LD MInty, 10th OA

Notables Ducks draft picks
2018: G Dostal, Rd 3
2019: LD LaCombe, Rd 2; LD Thrun, Rd 4 (Traded for a 2024 3rd round pick - RW Masse)
2020: RW Colangel, Rd 2 (2024-25 AHL All-Star), RD Moore, Rd 3 (in NCAA still )
2021: LD Zell, Rd2; Winger Pastujov, Rd 3
2022: RD Luneau, Rd 2
2023: G Clara, Rd2; Winger Sidoro, Rd 3, G Suchanek, UDFA
2024: LD Solberg, Rd1; C Petterssonm Rd 2; RW Massé, Rd 3

Anaheim is great at drafting defensemen and goalies beyond the top-10. Because they are able to d-men/goalies well, they are able to use top-10 picks on forwards, as shown above. And with more d-men talents showing up, that means the Ducks have more draft capital to trade for more forwards. But Anaheim kina already has five top-6F already drafted.

I'm more concerned that the Ducks haven't invested enough in a top-10 d-men and relying late first and above. We're fortunate that LaCombe is looking like a top-10 draft pick.

Leo caused that goal to happen.

This.

Some people here need to curb their criticism of this kid. Who is the youngest player on this team, It’s been insufferable and toxic here.

With that said, 2 points tonight…..Killorn finally pots a pass from him….. Finally!
