Where did you read that?
I'd say odds are good considering he played a full practice with the team this morning.
Doesn't this mean he didn't practice?

Just stay away from Hatcher. That guy should just play in Philly already — he belongs there.Expect big time games from Jere Lehtinen, Joel Lundqvist, and Brett Hull.
Excited to see Klingberg and Heiskanen.
A lot of us followed and supported Dallas through their playoff run last year. Overall the team seemed pretty likable or maybe it was just Zuke effect.
$76M softens some people.. It's not a mysteryWasn't so long ago that when the Rangers played the Stars, the main guy we'd have to shut down was Jamie Benn. Not exactly sure what has happened to him the past few years but he is far from elite these days and in fact has been downright mediocre at best.
From 2013 to 2017, Benn was an absolute stud and pretty much a point per game guy and he even won an Art Ross.
The new Benn of the past two years has 37 points in his last 129 games and that is not a mis-print.
I don't know what happened to him and wonder if maybe one of you Benn fantasy owners who follow him closer than I do seeing I never owned him ever can tell me.
Meantime, I'll head over to the Stars board and find out what they say. But this fall from grace for Benn has to be one of the biggest mysteries in the NHL the past few years.

2-1 loss. Dallas is one of those teams we struggle against i.e: they play a defensive system.I think we lose a tough one tonight.

Dallas before losing :It was the looming 1st.
that would make just about any team more like able.

Mindset/dedication/lifestyle. Those things can change drastically with $76MSo in your opinion it's the contract...ok maybe that has something to do with it tho with a guy like Benn, I never would have thought his performance would change once he got the big bucks.
I mean to go from a guy who scores 35-40 goals...80 points per year to where he'll be lucky to get 20 goals and 25 assists is pretty ****ing drastic.
I'm thinking it's got to be more than just making the big money for his steep decline but hey what do I know?

Now watch cause I opened my big mouth, a Benn 3 goal hatty upcoming this evening...lol
We used to have the most handsome team in the league year-in, year-out. Now we've got Chytil, Panarin, McKegg, Kakko, Fox, and Trouba (among others) making us a homely-looking bunch. And most-handsome of them all only plays a fraction of the games.guy's got a face only Philly could love.

Hmmm....we have our own PF approaching 30 looking for a payday....Benn is a 30 year old power forward. Not surprised to see his numbers tail off.
