Meh. Tired team playing 3rd game in 4 days against a physical team that had two days off.
Flyers were quicker than the Isles, but a half step slow by their standards.
Didn't wear down so much as not being able to find a second gear.
Lots of pucks around the net, but couldn't beat Sorokin, who outplayed Fedotov, and that was the game.
Fedotov wasn't bad, he just didn't come up with the big save, but he didn't make an egregious mistakes.
Sorokin came up with a couple big saves and the Flyers are in the kind of scoring slump where players grip the stick too tight. HDCF was 14-5 in favor of the Flyers, but you have to convert a couple.
A few mistakes allowed odd man rushes that resulted in two goals, Abols was out of position on one, not sure who was responsible for the other. Nelson beat Fedotov cleanly from an angle, it was a good shot but the kind of shot starting goaltenders stop.
