Ill go out on a limb and say LA doesn't have it this year.

I watched everyone of their playoff games. It wasn't a style sustainable over regular season.

Bold prediction: see them missing playoffs

Otherwise I see a first round dump.

OT: I've noticed a lot of Nuck-fan-like threads popping on the main board :shakehead

Just sayin', 'cause friends don't let friends act like Nuck fans.

Not a single one was started by a Sharks fan, FYI.

My measure isn't based on one season. Canucks played 7 games in the SC finals. Blues won 4 games. They are an overrated team and they aren't winning ****.

They're underrated if anything. They aren't just winning, they're dominating. They're limiting teams to below 20 even strength shots per game. They're putting 33 shots on goal per game. They're the same team as last year except, oh yeah, Andy MacDonald and David Perron are healthy, and kids like Vladimir Tarasenko, Jaden Schwartz, and Ian Cole are becoming big-time contributors.

But keep thinking that the Blues are no good. They'll kick our and everyone else's collective butts this year. They're my SC pick and I'm not budging off of that.

In my opinion it would be stupid to not care about what happened last year. We cannot underestimate teams on the assumption that what happened last year was just chance.

The Kings won their first SC in 40+ years. I hope teams are not dismissing that as 'chance' and expecting them to not be good this year (regardless of their poor record early this year).

I am sorry but the kings last year ran into a lot of luck onto there cup win. ( which is needed for a team to win a cup). I know lots of people will discount this but to win the cup a team needs a lot of luck ( this means matchups).

Yeah I agree, the Blues are the real deal. They are dominant, imagine coaching and defense as good as Phoenix or Nashville but with tons of scoring from three good lines.

Excited for this game and I'll be sort-of rooting for Matt Irwin. Eheheh.

No one is asking you to. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.

Of course. But you're sounding like a butt-hurt (and I hate that phrase) Sharks fan because they kicked our ***** last spring.

Mission accomplished. :sarcasm:

Wow you're completely off base. The most dominant team this season is gonna be the Blue Jackets. AINEC

Sharks win 5-3

Sharks goals: Marleau x2 (Why not considering the way he's playing), Pavelski (Need him to get a goal soon), Irwin (Loved that slapshot), and Gomez (just because he came so close to scoring one today).

Vancouver goals: Kassian, H. Sedin, D. Sedin

I completely agree, they barely squeaked into the playoffs and their players got hot at just the right time, absolutely a stars aligned kind of deal. I would expect another barely mediocre season from them this year.
