Sather has to deal with some passengers on this team. I can see where AV wants this team to be. But, guys like Boyle are just not going to fit...

just in case anyone missed it AV did say it normally takes about 30-45 days to have the team get fully acclimated with his system and this starts from the day the real team is set.

Good news is that we look much better than the score sheet says, although we're loosing, I actually think that, goal tending aside, we've played very well. It's the goals that count, and I'm not happy for that reason, but I think we're MUCH improved. Plenty of positives to take away from tonight, even if it is a loss(and I'm not writing it off yet...)

lets not focus on the score. they are actually playing hockey. that is already better than the last 2 games. this game its the goalies fault. the past two the defense completely left hank out to dry.

Another thing. We need to trade or scratch one of Puliout/Pyatt. Having both of them is redundant. They play exactly the same game. Soft and slow. I mistake them for eachother all the time. Id lean towards moving Pyatt out and keeping Pouliot if given the choice.

When that rookie actually shows something you play them more minutes and give them more responsibility. Fast has made some things happen things happen this game. Put him with our "offensive" players.

Staal wasnt at fault on the last goal. It was Fast's man. You can clearly see Staal communicating that he was covering the trailer near Oshie.

Fast never backchecked. Plus, Boyle "Selke" Boyle was nowhere to be found because hes too slow in transition.

Transition and Coverage is killing this team. When Lundqvist is Lundqvist, it wont be an issue.

Gary gifted the Pens a fruitcake schedule to start the season, and naturally, theyre steamrolling through all the turds. The Rangers will be 10 points out of first place by the time they open at home.

20 minutes. FIVE SHOTS.

Biron couldn't even save HALF of them. 3 GOAL ON 5 SHOTS.

Only one or two could be considered scoring chances.

How angry could I be at the skaters?
