That start was f***ing unreal. Hagel...what an animal.

I was really hoping for a more epic ending to that game but it was a 50/50 contest, US got the extra goal. Please let there be a rematch, this is what the sport is all about.

I think Cirelli and Hagel played better this game, especially at the start. Hagel did have some trouble receiving passes which he normally doesn't, but the PK was good. Point was alright and Guentz played well, some questionable positioning on the forecheck at times but he has such a great shot, leads the tournament in goals and tied for points. Coop is getting a lot of blame for the loss and while I get it to some extent for starting Binnington, the best players on Canada just didn't show up. Crosby led directly to a goal against and Mackinnon didn't do anything all game. The Cirelli/Hagel line did their job shutting down the Tkachuk line and McDavid was playing the Matthews line so MacKinnon and Crosby should have been able to feast with their matchup and they just shit the bed. Coop needs to throw the lines in a blender but also the top players need to play better.

I spat my coffee back into my cup. You're not even joking. There's a message board I moderate and we have an entire sub section dedicated to politics. I'm not gonna specify when and what POTUS but there's this one guy. God just imagine a grown man blowing his top with "F you guys!! He's one of the best players in the league when it comes to stepping up his game in playoff/important games.

We don't really define what being out coached is, but the standard has to be different in a short tournament. These groups have been together like 4 days.

I do think it was really weird how awful the line changes were and how our team is so bad at it too
