GDT: 4N Hub - 2025 4 Nations Face-Off

Honestly pretty happy for Cooper, once in a lifetime opportunity to coach a lineup like that. With all our struggles for depth lately he now gets an all-star lineup bumping his top-2 centers down and getting to mix & match McDavid, Makinnon and Crosby.

Coop is saying that gamers aren't winners. I take this as a personal attack on us.

I like how they mentioned at the start of the game that the time was 2:30am in Stockholm.

Why isn't the league growing internationally?

Cooper put all our 3 guys on ice together at the end of the 3rd for two shifts :thumbu:

Heddy was way overwhelmed by Canada's pace in the 1st, but then the whole game settled down. Cirelli and Hagel were big on the PK late in the 3rd for Canada.

All in all, a much better product than the NHL's 2016 World Cup of Hockey. Having it become a competitive game in the 2nd, and then end in OT was really for the best.

Hedman had a rough start but settled into the game and performed pretty well overall. Felt like he was out there for the whole game. Thought Point, Hagel and Cirelli were decent enough to varying degrees. Cirelli can look out of place with the level of skill out there, but I thought he showed why he was selected to the roster. Maybe tried to do a bit too much at times and wasn't great on faceoffs, but he was defensively sound as always and made a few subtly important reads without the puck.
