I’m actually pretty laid back, lol. I want everyone to have fun and discuss hockey. Some folks may get annoyed about tank discussions here in the GDT, even though a Top 3 pick is important for the Ducks future. Tonight was a game where we saw one of our kids score the GW goal. So there are mixed feelings.

We have the GDT threads and we have the Tank thread. It’s more of a respect your fellow member kinda thing, because some folks don’t want to discuss a great win being bad here in the GDT, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be discussed somewhere else on this forum.

The fact that we're the only sub-forum of the bottom 7 or 8 that I've seen a disclaimer about this for speaks volumes. Take it for what you will depending on what side of the fence you're on, but I think it says a lot about the character of the people here.

Of course, he’s a rangers fan too. People who are fans of both teams just get it!!

Im on the side of, i turn the game on and hope to see the team come out and be competitive and win (or what would be the point even watching the game)... but i also dont exactly feel bad if the wheels come off and we lose.

I mean at least Klingberg has kinda taken aggro off fowler and shatt.... he truly is terrible.

Tonight he just seemed to mail it in, unless he is still sick? Happy Fowler is playing well at least.

I still like the guys available at 7 tbh... like i said ill be ecstatic with any of Bedard, Fantili, Carlsson, Michkov, Benson, Smith. And there is 4/5 other guys we could choose that id be fine with.

I feel like for better or worse, the team was always going to kinda live or die off fowler hes really the only impactful guy we have on the back end (specially after drysdale went down).

The best games the team plays, are the games where fowler is impactful.

I still think Fowler will be a good stop gap till some of our prospects are ready. Could be another two years? If he is not playing over his head he is still a good 2/3 guy. I mean +8 , 5 points in the last two games, one against Colorado, really good stuff.

Brought the frigging champs down!!!

But this is the last time these RR are used? If they are not made permanent, we need to sue the owners, lol. These jerseys are one of the two good kids we have had in decades. Other being the 25th anniversary one.

Really hope we can fix the D in front of him while still in his prime. I just don’t see him going anywhere. Another night where we give up 40+ SOG, but we really took control later in the game to score 4 unanswered goals.

I just read this. Yeah this is the last game with the RR. It’s a sign after this huge win, these beauties should be our away jerseys moving forward. Lol

Klingberg and White really struggled. Klingberg seemed dead at the end of every shift - I did think he was trying tonight but he seemed anxious to get back to the bench quickly. White just isn't an NHLer and we can't shelter guys like that.
