Mase came up big when we needed him. Ghost was so pumped on the winner.

i not even mad at Farmer anymore, he's so bad it's all on coach and GM to remove him

They wont remove him and he will continue to make it more difficult to win. Its one of the worlds great mysteries.

I love how the post game is praising Bellemare for diving to clear a puck..he was tired because he spent 1:30 straight in his zone PKing because they are a terrible PK unit

He was essentially cleaning up a mess he helped create with his hero clear
I switched to the away feed cause I was getting sick of the homers. They are just making excuses for the poor play.

Unfortunately Hextall implied that Morin & Sanheim aren't options at the moment today. Essentially said no one on their roster at any position is for that matter.

I'd like to get MacDonald out but unfortunately we still have Streit, Del Zotto, Schultz, & Manning on the roster too.

A win is a win, but I'm not at all encouraged at tonight's effort. The Islanders are a bad team, and the only reason we didn't lose 6-2 is because Mason decided to be superhuman tonight.

The defense was equally as bad as they have been, way too many turnovers as usual, and way too many golden opportunities.

The offense continued to struggle as expected. Greiss looked like a 1A tonight, instead of the backup that he's been for most of his career.

"Hey, Scott, do you think Sanheim and Morin are ready?"

*fantasizes about getting an NHL coaching job*

"Nnnnnope."

At this point, you know watching these pre/post games are going to **** you off. Why watch?

Jackson, Clement, etc are team employees. It's like expecting Dave Spadaro to criticize an Eagles coach.

I watch PST some times when Spadaro is on in hopes someone punches him on the air

People down on effort, I thought Greiss played pretty damn good. Wasn't that bad of an effort.

Must say Jake is the oppositions best PK er on the PP. He needs his mojo back

The PK unit being bad in general doesn't mean Bellemare shouldn't be praised for a great and gutsy clear. Voracek sure appreciated the effort.

No one isn't commending Bellemare for a good effort. People just roll their eyes and dislike how that's equated to him/them being GOOD on the PK. Which is what the broadcasters and media were doing, and which you know is what Hak/Lappy do when they evaluate that kill.

They honestly didn't put any pressure on the guys at the top of the Isles PP. It was pretty much a puck movement & shooting gallery for over a 1:30. We're pretty forunate Mason made some saves & the Isles missed the net on a few otherwise that really could have been a disaster.

This has been an issue all year with those two yet they're still our top PKers for god knows what reason.

I screamed way too loud on that win. Giroux, Vora, and Ghost the best 3v3 combo in the NHL I believe. you could just see the emotion they had like what a relief. We need to get rolling here on out

I know the answer but why did MacDonald see the ice in OT?

We all know the answer why 47-78 saw OT time. Oddly Cousins was with them....and he actually was good out there in spite of them.

But the weird part was Streit got a shift too, and I was clenching with him on the ice too. They strangely did 4 D and 4 forward pairs.

He emptied the bench but somehow Simmer didn't get an OT shift.....but Read, Cousins, Konecny, Bellemare did :dunno:

At least TK was dynamite and had a couple great chances. Bodes well.

They, and most teams, usually only play 3 D in OT. It was just odd.

Yes, it has just been Ghost, Provy, MDZ recently with Streit out, but I assume it's dependent on how gassed the best options are on the bench after their shifts.
