That’s the issue with the “rebuild” nobody has really convincingly over multiple seasons closed the gap with those guys even in their older states let alone at their peaks. Hextall’s guys are getting at that age where things should be materializing & age is becoming less of an excuse too.

I cannot explain it. I cannot fight it. I cannot hate it. I really shouldn't do it. Being a Flyers fan is worse than a nagging girlfriend, whose only redeeming factor is she hasn't dumped me yet.

He's not a good leader unless he's literally punching his teammates in the face when they screw up.

that vet thing is a little misleading....only in that 1 of the points were at ES. The other 6 were when we pulled the goalie and mostly the vets were on the ice. Only Farabee was on the ice to even have that chance that the vets got.

But they got it done. Against a shit team, but got it done. In the end, it's a win that doesn't matter. We needed to beat good teams to lower their points while increasing ours.
