The one thing I do really love about the Rangers board is that we are welcoming of opposing fans with differing viewpoints. We've had a number of great Islanders posters on here over the years and a few solid Devils posters.

God forbid you go over there, though, and you are an opposing fan? Man alive. Just nasty hatred. It's a different fanbase and one that I'm proud not to be a part of.

tldr; We are so much better than Devils fans.

A couple games ago I went over there and said that I think the Marty sing song chant was played out. Some kid told me shut the **** up. Get the **** off our board.

Another kid said to me "It's all good. I think it's funny."

Never been an issue with Bruins, Flyers, Penguins, Isles fans when you go over to their board before a game.

With the Devils though, too much hostility.

He is. He has let in a bad goal in almost every game he's played. He's usually cleaned it up after the bad goal, but I don't really think he has been incredible this year.

Exactly. Islanders fans are pretty cool, actually. I hate their team, but their fanbase is respectful. And they hate our team with a burning passion being our real rivals.

Well, did you read the other statement in that sentence? I said he's cleaned it up after he lets in a bad goal. Meaning he's been pretty good most of the year. But it's undeniable that he has let in a bad goal quite often. I don't think it's that big of a deal if we can get our team scoring, but it's something to think about.

They are by far the worst fanbase on this site. It's not even up for debate.

I predict that they'll will miss the playoffs for the next 3 yrs at a minimum.

He hasn't been giving up many bad goals. The defense usually always lets him down.

I'm not sure how much better you can do than a .930 sub 2.00 GAA playing in 90% of team's games.
