Marty's not even playing tomorrow. He made a comment along the lines of "why should I put up with ranger fans when there's nothing to play for?"

Yeah, so that shows the mindset the devils have. They're no longer playing spoiler so they have nothing to play for.

It's never easy for THIS team.

Don't worry. It's different now. They're guaranteed in the playoffs. That huge boulder on their collective shoulders is gone. New season starts in a couple of days and they can start fresh.

I know this season has been very difficult for Rangers fans, but that win last night was the real turning point of the season. Forget everything that has happened and look forward. :yo:

I like your attitude!

On seeding/tomorrow’s lineup:”I think if the Islanders lose tonight we are in a pretty good spot. I think we just need to keep on trying to play our best hockey in our last game. If the Isles lose it changes some of my thinking. We are banged up. That is a major concern of mine. I’m gonna look at the scoreboard tonight and that may dictate our lineup tomorrow. I think we need to win that hockey game. I think you look at some of the teams who have clinched, it’s been a battle. We haven’t been pretty, but we have found ways to win hockey games.”

if we get to ot i wonder if he'd tell the guys straight up to throw it or if he'd just let them do whatever

If you feel that way then why not ride Hank tomorrow?

Like I said, Biron is rusty and needs a start. You want everyone to have confidence in themselves and feeling good going into the playoffs. Lundqvist had his high note winning in OT last night.

Heck, you can even have both guys split the game if you want (as long as it's not a mid game 'pull', but a designated switch agreed to before game).

No need to start Biron tomorrow. Hank will likely have 3+ days off after this one. We need a point, and Hank gives us the best chance of accomplishing that.

I'm scared for this game. The Devils are probably goon it up. If the refs can take control during the 1st, the we should be fine. If not, look out.

If the Rangers can prevent Clarkson from becoming some kind of hero, that would be great. I actually worry more about him than Kovalchuk, the way he parks himself in front of Henrik and nobody moving him, as in nobody just battling him so hard that he can't do squat.
Put Zuccs on him, he'll distract him...

Don't care who we play. I think this team can take anyone currently in the playoffs in a 7 game series except for Montreal. Bring on the Pens, Caps, or Bruins

Just win. Really rub it in the Devils' faces and hope we're getting hot at the right time.
