I know that last time against Bishop I was pleading for the Rangers to get a bit nasty in his crease. I think they pushed a bit in the last few minutes but they need to start sooner and ****ing take this game. This is a game they should be able to take.

He'll flop before we can even get near him

The only way Hank could really be better is saving their bacon and bailing them out on the breakaway that's not his fault. Sure, Bishop has been better, but if this game ends 2-1 or 3-1 it won't have been goaltending at fault.

It won't be, but I'm used to seeing Lundqvist be the guy stealing games for us. This season outside of a tiny amount of games that hasn't been the case.

I have made the point before about larger players not needing any additional advantage with equipment.

Bishop's size already advantages him, so does Chara's. They shouldn't be allowed to have larger equipment as a consequence. Like it or not, leg pads are less about protection for a goaltender in this era and more a means of stopping the puck. If Bishops is allowed a certain size leg pad, certain size blocker, certain size glove, it should be the same for him as it is Arturs Irbe. Whether they choose to wear the pads that size is up to them.

It isn't an issue of protection. If goalies worse jock straps that hung down to their knees to protect the five hole with the argument that they need it, you'd call their bluff.
