Like I said last time, Lundqvist himself has even admitted that he should be better on breakaways.

Using your logic, a goalie could never stop a breakaway in their career and you wouldn't blame them at all.

Every goalie wants to stop a breakaway, but the fault isn't placed on the goalie if he doesn't stop it.

The point is how that play developed. When you have five total players on the ice, and ONE player from the other team sneaks by everyone, leaving your defense completely unaware of what is going on, THAT is who you blame for that goal. Not the goaltender.

This is hockey knowledge 101.

I already nothing is ever the goalie's fault. You've told everyone a thousand times.

And of all the things that could be his fault, are we really going to sit here and blame him for a come rely clean breakaway 8 seconds after a center ice face off? He's playing well. It's ridiculous to say that goal is " his fault". He could have nailed them out if he stopped it. It's still completely "their fault", not his.

3rd line has been benched ever since the face off set play goal...

We've been on the PK and lines have been rotated, nothing dramatic here.

This whole period have been such a study in garbage, what the hell did they do during the break.
