Petts has zero offensive instincts and needs to go. I don't care how good he looks, he is a third pairing D man and hard to justify that contract. GMJR extended Olli to early and same for Petts. Hopefully Hextal cleans this up this off season.

Perhaps EROD did that, but I don't think it was the issue earlier this year.

The funny thing is, the guy is brutally honest, like Ian Cole was, which is probably part of the reason Sully doesn't like him (unless he needs him). He said he didn't get to skate enough in Russia (i.e., he didn't have his legs). He looked like it. Then, he said he felt the legs were almost there, and that's when he took off. I'm not sure why you keep looking for a mystery when there was none.

not sure...I am watching him like really watching him play after play pushing puck super smart....I probably will jinx this, but he is pleasantly exceeding all my expectations

Same. I can see him exploding against Washington. He had a couple of goals for the Leafs against the Caps that year.
