Two things the Rangers have done all season that will be their undoing if they make the playoffs:

Fail to score first.

Lose to extremely weak/weakened teams.

Legitimately nauseating. I'm actually nauseous, this is bad.

Callahan is brain dead in the offensive zone.

Two opportunities to get two points and clinch. An opportunity for WPG to hand it to us.

They don't deserve it. Puck luck didn't go their way tonight and they crumbled. A bad performance all around.

Callahan scores that gimme in the 1st and its a completely different game.

**** me, what an atrocious showing.

Well this ****ing stings.

We got help tonight however and #6 seed is still up for grabs.

I can't believe we lost on an empty net goal. They scored twice, we scored twice. And yet here we are with a loss. It feels so fake.

I'll remember two losses to the Panthers when the Rangers are playing in Pitt next week or sitting at home.

What a ******** game. Seriously.

I don't want to hear about chances, or about how the Panthers played.

This team is flat out embarrassing.

That's why you don't pull the goalie on the PP unless the remaining PP time > Time on the clock.

EN goal is a game winner, what a joke.

We need to be huge Habs fans and pray like ****in hell that we can beat Carolina in Car. If they win and we lose, and we have to beat the Devils to clinch, I dont like our chances.

I could almost run out of fingers counting games where the Rangers put in less effort.

They did not execute tonight. Not saying it was a superlative effort, but it was not close to their worst this season, not close.
Winning is what counts, and they lost.

Good: Moore, Richards, Zuccarello
Bad: Lundqvist, Nash, Stepan
Ugly: Callahan turning in a disgusting performance in a game where we could have clinched. Thanks, 'captain'. Also, Tortorella pulling the goalie that early. What an idiot.

Playoffs will game down to the Devils, who return the favor of ending the Rangers season. Just the Ranger way.
