This is the reason why the rangers have struggled. Guys like hank nash callahan stepan and richardsds have struggled. When all(most) of them play like they have tonight along with the emergence of Zucc and Kreider the rangers are difficult to beat. Everyone was scared to death of the Hawks yet we are outplaying them. Hopefully those gusy continue the rest of the way

Blockers used to all look like waffleboards, this is why Doc says that when goalies use it to block a puck. Still really annoying.

Doc actually has some cool expressions the "geometrically" was not one, but "waffleboarded" conjures up images of the oldschool goalie pads that everyone had, no matter who you played for. He's got a PhD in English and manages to be creative and not a cerebral showoff. P Maguire is just a dumb***.

I can't stand either one of them.

Doc needs to just call the god damn game. Pierre says the same things over and over again. Rambles on about colleges and hometowns of players.

Rewatching the 1st goal, I really love how that played out.

Cally makes a pass that if it hadn't connected, we'd all be calling him bonehead, but Richards reads it perfectly and moves up with it. Cally hustles up ice and wide, creating the 2 on 1.

But Richie plays this perfectly. He continues to march in, and in, and then for a second, he freezes Crawford. Crawford's at the point where he has to make a decision between the shot and the pass, and before he can commit, Richards shoots low and hard.

Great play from those 2

Come on guys! I came here to read how you all hate Carcillo and how bad hockey player he is. Im disapointed, i found only 2 POSITIVE comments.

Positive for god's sake. Straighten up dudes!

I agree but most people wuld rather call both goals soft instead of giving the rangers credit. I understand the Hawks are a high powered offense but they were pretty invisble in that first period which the rangers outplayed them

Cally has been playing very well since back from injury. He has 4 Points in his last 3 games. Hopefully he can keep it up.

I thought he was fine. he drew a penalty which led to the 2nd goal. the best thing is that the NBC guys are crying because the rangers are outplaying the hawks

It really was soft goal. That said, thats prime estate scoring chance and im not suprised Richards scored. That shot still shouldnt have gone in.

I watch for entertainment, and that was a fun play to watch, need that kind of thing.

The 2nd goal I can see Chicago fans being upset with. But, new nets, timing is different, and Zucc was very fast there. Crawford probably feels he should have had that one.

The Richards goal, yeah, Crawford had a chance on. He got beat by a good shot on an odd man rush. It happens.

Rangers have played well, Idlerlee. Too sketchy goals given up by Crawford, but Rangers have been the better team.

Uhh I'm having trouble seeing how Staal interfered with Bickell when Bickell slid into Staal from behind Staal and knocked him down.. (unless I mis-saw players?)
