I hope Lilleberg behaves tonight, he's been a bad boy lately, knocked out Mark Kastelic in a fight and placed him on IR the other day.

Is it in idiot Cronin’s book of laws that Killorn must be with Leo? I mean seriously, no problem with Mctavish on the wing but put Cutter with them instead of old ass Killorn. I don’t understand why Killorn is stapled to Leo.
It's pretty simple to me. Killorn is our oldest forward, therefore veteran experience, presence and guidance that Leo is supposed to sponge off of. For the f*** all good it does in practice. If anything I'd argue that the longer he's played with Killorn the worse his decision making and general puck management has gotten.

It's a gorilla brained idea with the right intent. Like yeah, ideally Leo would learn from a seasoned vet by osmosis but not when he has no chemistry with said vet and most nights said vet can't handle simple plays adequately. This has become the thing that annoys me the most about Cronin's development of these kids, by far.

ok I know we’re razzing that line but I’m really happy we finally trying Mctavish on Carlson’s wing although with how we’ve been playing I suspect it won’t work all that great tonight

Good: Trying McTavish on the wing, Minty and Zelly both in, finally actually making some changes.

Bad: Killorn with Leo, Johnston for Leason (Leason has seemed off his game since the "just go out there and be Troy Terry" thing and probably needs a reset, but that's what Nesterenko is there for), Killorn with Leo, Colangelo sitting (should never be in the press box, isn't that why Nesterenko was the first callup this time around to begin with? So Colangelo could stay with the Gulls instead of wasting time being scratched?), Killorn with Leo.

Ross Johnston....when we need goals.....

Leo just has to slow it down a little bit. Nice play to skate it out of there like that (maybe our only forward who can do that), but process it before trying to run through multiple defenders when you have an odd-man rush.
