Hank already made a few huge saves this game, but its the continual defensive breakdowns on the previous two goals, and you're going to be down. It doesn't matter who you are.

What it be nice if he could save the breakaway, or the guy with a prime chance from 5 feet away? Of course. It's not like he's not trying, but those grade a chances are going to get buried. It's a fact. Every hockey player, and goalie knows this.

Hank used to make those saves on a regular basis.

I get on Lundqvist for EVERY soft goal he gives up. Go back to November 12th against the Devils...I screamed as loud as I could at him from section 420 when Ryan Carter took that soft back handed shot and beat him right between the legs. THAT is an example of a soft goal.

Every goalie gives up soft goals in a year, but Lundqvist is getting beat on prime chances by the other team, and complete breakdowns by the team in front of him. He isn't the problem this year. Put him on Pittsburgh or Chicago, San Jose, and Anaheim, and you would see him leading his way to another Vezina.

The team in front of him SUCKS, and he can't be super human every night like he was in Dallas earlier this season.

Teams score goals, its part of the game. How about we learn how to do that?

Currently 24th in the league out of 30 in scoring...

Like i said i dont blame everything on hank teh defense has been bad BUT can you honestly say that he has played well consistently this year?

Can anyone remind me why we have 150 different coaches for every aspect of the game? And why apparently none of them have said "Hey, I don't think this whole defensive system is working, maybe we should do something else"?
