Another bad game where the Ducks have no structure. They do not look prepared for their games. It's astonishing that this can continue. The idea that the Ducks can't sacrifice defense is insane. Their defense is not good enough to justify that mentality. Cronin does not know how fix this problem, and the young players are not developing offensively which is a big issue. There is no justifiable argument for keeping Cronin. The madness has to end.

What does Cronin have these guys do during practice? No cohesion at all..

I got home from work somewhere around the third, totally ready to start watching from the beginning. Luckily my gf warned me it wasn't a good game (and I don't care if we lose, as long as we put forth effort).
I don't understand how anyone in management (mostly Cronin) can look at this and say "yep, THIS is the culture we want, THIS is the best hockey we are capable of"
I still have some faith in Verbeek, but if he doesn't change the coach all of that is going out the window.

I don’t know if Cronin is aware that if your offense is marginally functional, you won’t have to defend as often.

Literally any sort of offensive structure wouldn’t be sacrificing defense, it would be saving it from the constant torture.
