played like **** in the 2nd period, but completely dominated that 3rd period.

So, does Torts get any credit for firing the team up?

So. For all of those *****ing about the lines.

They looked pretty cohesive, didn't they? Almost like they looked goods. If we had lost, everyone would have blamed Torts, but we win and nobody will give him any credit.

Seriously.

"OMG Kreider is being misused!"

Looked like he played well and built up some confidence tonight. I wouldn't want him playing 4th line NHL minutes instead of 1st line AHL minutes every night, but it paid off tonight. Maybe he needs to be phased in to the NHL game.

Moore's fight really pumped the team up and is the reason they scored all those goals at the end IMO.

Richards surprised us all, great game on his part.
Moore is simply great, looks like Slats has worked his magic again.
Brassard has been great.
Nash had a good game.
Stepan continues to rack up points.

I'll do what I hate others for doing. That was one of the least impressive beatdowns I've ever seen. I think I remember one in like the 05-06 season when we beat the Pens 6-1 and got totally outplayed. Anyway this Panthers team is really really bad. No matter how unimpressive the beatdown, it was a beatdown nonetheless.

HM: Richards and Nash

Good: Kreider looked effective on his shifts. He was quick and he was forechecking quite well. That 4th line seemed to be in the offensive zone each time they were on the ice. I thought Moore had another solid game, and he topped it off by beating on Skille. Clowe looked solid as well, as did Eminger. Callahan came out and had a great start, and he played pretty well throughout the night.

Bad: Our even strength play through two was pretty sloppy, and the last two PPs we had were abysmal and gave the Panthers a ton of momentum. If that were a playoff game, it probably would have ended up tied.

Redden: 35 shots against.

First two periods weren't great. Third period we woke up. We need to find that consistency, and beat Buffalo tomorrow.

Brassard is a player though.

Not to take away from the win, but this is the problem we've had all season - just a good thing we had a 2 goal lead despite that.

This defense badly needs Staal back however.. Once he's back, I think our D will turn the corner, too many quality scoring chances on Hank every game.

Good period. Excellent way to close it out. Moores fight was awesome as well.

Can't choose between Nash, hank and brassard for best player. Brassard has been really good.

Lol at Richards getting a star. The fickleness. He shows up on the scoreboard and voila. He was crap until the last 5 minutes of the game.
