They simply need to Try Harder.Hey they just gotta get more third and fourth liners though, right? That's the problem.
If we're going for sexual metaphors…
This team is like sounding. Search that one at work, I dare you.
what about Hockey Dog?
Worse, promote you.I'm in HR- what are they gonna do, fire me?

This reminds me, I've been meaning to comment on Smith and his passes on the PP. He give a legit backwards pass to the trailer. It's not a drop pass. You can always see just a smidge of hesitancy with the trailer as clearly they are not used to it. I'm surprised Sid or Geno haven't put him up against the lockers yet.Not hard to stone a team that has zero creativity and a buncha bricks for hands. And when they DO try something it's like a blind backhand drop pass while skating slow as frozen molasses through traffic.
I wish ChatGDT didn't stop at 2021. It would be a good tool to make player poems. Especially in these trying times.Big John was a Gruden both honest and true
Played for the Pens and attempted a shot or two
But the coach said nope that’s not whatcher here to do
So back to the bench til your skating days are through.
Worse, promote you.
I suggest we go with the PPP approach- have we tried asking the players pretty pretty please?I think it's hilarious that we're at the point with a capped out, max salary supposed contender of a team where we are simply begging them to just like... find a way to dig deep and grind out some wins using extremely basic fundamental hockey but they just... can't. It's almost like the whole team is unprepared, discombobulated, demoralized and has no identity.
This is obviously Kapanen's fault somehow.

Coincidently, I got a new title change to Director of HR at the beginning of the year. No change in my duties, but it sure sounds cooler!
L2 was pretty darn good against Canes, creating a lot of really good looksIt's gonna be GCR coming up with a goal or two in this one on the strength of a suddenly-interested-for-the-night Crosby. Which of course in some ways just does more harm than good because GCR. L2 is gonna get hammered because they just have that look lately. I don't even think about L3 these days TBH.

toucheYeah that's what L2 does... get everyone all hot and bothered up to the point of the actual important part. Scoring.
I'm frankly pretty tired of pretending that the Zucker/Malkin combo is gonna "finally break loose." No they're not. This is what they do. It's a ton of effort for no payoff. Unless ya'll haven't had enough moral victories, yet. I myself am full up on those.

no you are 100% right, I just don't want to have all my hopes dead. +/- hole they do keep digging, at least they were positive first third now they are getting scored on too....It's no disrespect at all. You aren't wrong. But I'd rather see some loosy-goosy, dysfunctional mess of a line that actually FINISHES then this tease line that does everything right aside from the actual important part. The only thing these two are getting for their efforts are deeper down the +/- hole.

It’s not hard to get scored on when Ruh or Dumo is behind your line lol…Geno had 4 points, 2 at ES, against the Canucks…the Ducks also have a bottom three defense…if Geno gets the acres of space he got against the Canucks, that line will score lol…just a matter of what D is behind them lol as far as xGA…that and how CDS is performingno you are 100% right, I just don't want to have all my hopes dead. +/- hole they do keep digging, at least they were positive first third now they are getting scored on too....
Nobody wants to hear it but as hard as Zucker tries, as much as he cares and as proud of him as well all are... he's a good third liner or a complimentary top six wing at best. If you're gonna have him be the primary wing for an aged Evgeni Malkin then you're gonna have a bad time. Or at least a very un-clutch, offensively inconsistent second line.
The top six needs some REAL shakeups in an attempt to find some spark but we won't see it.
not new enough lol
I mean he’s a good top six winger. Just not a line driver.
