we're being too ****ing cute on the PP. They're pressuring the puck and we're trying to be cute. Tampa defense was horrible. Turn overs, bad positioning, over reaching and leaving the net front void of a proper defense. Florida is pressuring and they have big heavy guys that can get in lanes and stay on top of our players. They're working damn hard and that's how they've been winning games.
When we're trying to out skill them but don't finish, and they're working harder than us, this is what's going to happen on most nights.

I'm only able to watch parts of the game on my iPad because of new years and family commitments, so I haven't gotten a real impression of how we look tonight. Is it bad?
I saw the Florida goal and I don't know what Girardi was doing on that play. At least you can't blame that one on Hank. How does Hank look tonight?

That's cause it's very very hard to find a top player later...of the top 10 point scorers in the league this year 4 were the #1 overall pick,1 was the #2, 1 was the #4, two were later first, then Sharp was a 3rd rounder and Kunitz undrafted. Then your next two guys are #3 overall and #1 overall as well. 5 of the top 12 in points were #1 overall picks.

It's next to impossible to do that though. We are very lucky to have found hank.

If they didn't find hank they would probably have been picking top 5 a couple times at least

My dad says Girardi passing to the other team and then McDonagh mugging the guy is a set play. Sort of a roundabout way of getting McD the puck. I think hes onto something.
