I would have started Shesty. He’s better and his puck play would have helped neutralized some of their forecheck. However, with the way the rest of the team is playing, I still don’t see us winning this game. I’m fine in the regular season trying to take 4 of 6 points instead of gambling. In the playoffs if Shesty sits after a good/ok game then I’ll get pissed.

I just have no confidence in the Rangers playing a real close game against the better teams in this league when Georgiev is in there. Whether he "should have saved that," or not. This game is basically the same as the season opener versus Washington. Another playoff team, a real good skating club, another blow out.

Bad idea. Both players are 20. There are too many top end teams in the East for us to have any shot of getting a cup this year. Stick to the development plan; this was never supposed to be our year, and it isn't.
This team is young. The forwards behind its success are not. Kreider, Z, Panarin, and Strome are not. They are all around 30. The Rangers could not decide if they wanted to compete or to go for a full rebuild. Panarin stands out as a free agent splash rather than home-grown like Kreider or taken on in a trade like Z or Strome. When this fanbase talks about valuable learning experiences, they do realize how many contributing players are pushing 30 right?
