I don't know why that's an issue. Coach was being honest. I applaud him for being blunt and straight to the point. He could have given a positive message/hope at the end, however.

I'd be betting there were some positive messages delivered to the group before/during/after the game

That must be why AV has been playing Zbad and Desharnais on the PP hehe

It’s not “puck movers” per se though. The team has too many “hard hat” players. Kreider, Miller, Nash, Hayes, Vesey, Fast, Carey, Nieves, Grabner. All have decent hands in tight and can work in the corner, drive to the net but none are particularly adept at giving or receiving passes or really have good mits in traffic. Some exceptions. Defense is much the same. We’re just a team that lacks high end skills/polish. We have good players for the most part. We don’t have the right mix.
