Said it before, but I like to get our 3rd (true #2) WR in the draft. WRs who could be available when we pick (assuming no trades, which we almost certainly will do to recoup some of our traded picks) in order of my preference, w/hundreds of mock drafts across multiple platforms informing my half-assed likelihood of avails.

1st Round
Burden III (almost no chance) (great value in late 1st)
Egbuka (less than 50%)
Tre Harris (likely)
Golden (likely)
Bech (almost certainly) (bad value in 1st)

2nd Round
Bech (less than 50%) (good value in late 2nd)
Jayden Higgins (less than 50%)
Restrepo (Likely, but he's a smurf)

3rd Round
Savion Williams (50/50)
Jalen Royals (50/50)
Jalen Noel (prob'ly)
(Isaiah Bond probly goes in this n'hood -- he'd be decent value in the 8th round)

It won't be this year's first b/c the Browns can't move him before June or it blows their cap to hell.

There's still almost no way the Browns can afford to trade him before June 1st, so this years first round pick won't be part of that deal.

Or... what Ynot said 3 seconds sooner :D

I like the idea of adding Kirk. Knows Kliff, KK really likes him, won’t cost assets to acquire (like DK will), good locker room guy. Bring in Kirk and let Luke develop as well, then maybe grab a WR if there’s someone in the draft they love.

Yeah, Kliff loves Kirk. Thats the whole idea. He would be a significant upgrade to OZ.

I don’t see them adding a WR in this draft until the later rounds at best. Way more likely to draft a RB like Hampton (trade down perhaps).

I think this is a mistake. I get that he may not have huge trade value, but I think the defense is a good bit better with him than without him. He was on pace for a solid year when he got hurt. Then the run defense fell apart.
 
I would LOVE this draft! Caldwell is 6'1'' and 341 lbs. He's a brick wall in run defense. Pearce likely won't fall this far, but every year, someone does.

John Keim had good comments that nobody was willing to trade for Allen when they'd just release him a few months later
 
They should just restructure him. Having no one want to trade for you should be an eye opener to him that no one sees you as worth your contract anymore. Keep him at a reduced salary.
