I wonder how much the ice time decisions in a given game comes down to Reirden/Vellucci vs. Sullivan.

Not absolving Sullivan. He's the head coach. If he wants someone to play more or better balance, he needs to make that clear.

But usually assistants are in charge of monitoring usage, then the head coach calls out whose line is next.

The POJ thing is just weird. Sullivan has openly praised his game, yet Smith has jumped ahead of him in TOI even at 5-on-5.
