Michkov seems off, bad decision in OT to take a weak back hand shot instead of holding on to the puck and waiting for teammates to arrive. This after TK tried "hero ball" with a similar move but a better shot attempt.
Brink line clearly the best group again by a wide margin.
Frost line flashed at times but seemed out of sync at times.
Poehling is just a bad fit for TK/Tippett, no hands and he's really not that good defensively, primarily a 4th line forechecker - but you could see Jett in that role, centering one of the fastest lines in the NHL where he could play conservative and pass to two shooters while he learned.
Couts line isn't really a checking line, but they play very conservative, and I think this reflects Couts lack of speed (and Hathaway has slowed while Farabee is an average skater), he's careful not to get caught deep.
Sanheim hasn't bee the same player the last couple months, which makes me think he's playing a bit dinged up. Rest of the defense was more than fine, Drysdale starting to play at a high level on a regular basis, and when he turns on the jets, you can see why he intrigues them.
Fedotov allowed bad rebounds in front of the net for both goals, then settled in and did a much better job controlling shots. Best he's looked this season overall.
Another game where the Flyers went toe to toe with top teams (Vegas #1, LA #5, Leafs #8 in point%) on the road. Does this mean they're in the same class? Of course not. But it also means they're further along than people give them credit for, they can stand up to physical teams and skate with fast teams. Need to upgrade STs, goalies, add more talent depth. But it's doable.
