This is where the league office should be phoning into the refs during intermission to ask WTF they were doing. They watched that unfold with multiple chances to blow the whistle on McCabe. He's giving Hathaway shots to the head and they do nothing. So then he gives a shot back. Fully avoidable. That was a completely optional moment. They yielded control to the inmates.
