Looks more engaged than he has in awhile. Has had a few good chances and has made few nice passes too. Still not using his strength to charge the net as much as he should be

Something is wrong when Zucc is carrying this team on his back

I agree. Zucc is like a 60 point player at best. U need one or two players that can get 80 ish Points to be a contender. I dnt think Zucc is that kind of player. That said im rly happy that a Norwegian has some success in the NHL :)

Nash and Stepan are more involved than they have been in some time. Maybe they realized they are on the bubble for their Olympic teams and decided to put their ***** in gear, could be too late for them though.

You guys must be watching a different player if you think DZ has been good recently.

He has been all over the place defensively and seems to be confused on what side he is playing. He is really struggling with the man/man.

But in the previous 3-4 games he was more solid and he has connected on a lot of really crisp passes.

Does Zuccarello deserve an A? To me he looks like a leader, both on and off the ice. And he's the King of our PP :)

I only get to see him on TV. Have not been to a game this season. I would not know how he is off the ice, like in the locker room or at practice. But if you say he is a leader off the ice then I will go with it.

You don't need 80+ point players to be competitive. Kings and Bruins didn't have any

PAID to be.

Nash's cap hit certainly enables the expectation of PPG seasons.

eh, Richard's was paid as the best UFA in his year and everyone agrees he was overpaid. Ditto Nash who was paid by a bad GM who had to overpay to get him in Ohio. Why would you expect PPG from Nash when it has rarely happened before? Both should be playing better than they are, but to expect them to be players they are not based on contract is pointless

Bunch of bad games
Benched for a bunch of games
A couple ok games
Sucks again today.

That's how I would summarize his season

Totally agree. Rip that patch off of Richards.

Noooo Richards is a good guy. He is calm, very exp and has won a cup. I believe he is a Natural leader on this team. Giving Zucc or any other player the A or C wouldnt be smart. Hejduk couldnt handle the pressure of being C. Landeskog struggled aswell. Its not always a good thing to be given an A or C.

Nash was a PPG player for us last season.

Nobody is going to score a PPG unless they are on a line that is really working AND on a top PP unit that is working. Add injuries and negative pressure on that, I think 60+ pts in 80 is "good" even for Nash.

You get him to produce more than that, but it's a team game.
