For sure. Both are big boppers. Wilson will fight a heavyweight bout willing to trade face shots. He’s used to that risk. Brady T won’t do that with a guy like Wilson.

Americans always do this, we knew it was coming. It happens most tournaments when the US happens to beat Canada in a meaningless group game, we hear it non stop about how its "their time" only for Canada to win when it matters.

Canada was missing Morrissey... Makar missed a game.. Theodore injured in the 1st period of the 1st game. Pietrangelo dropped out before the tournament. Thats Canada's top 4 defensemen right there.

Werenski is good. But he’s the level of Morrisy for team Canada. Not like Hughes and Makar level of difference maker.

Dominated the OT until then and didn't bury it. Always seems to play out that way.

Matthews and Fox both leave McDavid to cover Marner in the corner. Sigh.

And when you don't bury those chances a team ends up paying. Great two games between best teams in the tourney.

Outside of Matthews and Tkachuk no american forwards showed up last night

Eichel and Guentzel also played well. But as a group it was a rough game without Matt Tkachuk and the pace was too much for some of them.

Play Hughes at center or don’t bring him at all because his game does not lend itself to that area. Hes not direct or good enough on the walls to contribute at this level at the wing.

I’d swap Nelson for Tuch, and one or two of Keller, Tage, Robo.

Yeah, I didn't like Hughes on the wing. I think he's a guy that plays best at his natural position. Probably needed a bodyguard or two on his line as well, and that's not a criticism. The 4th line was disappointing to me. I would have rather brought Tuch, Thompson, and Robertson. Honestly, we played pretty well considering a lot of the forwards were AWOL.

How can Devils fans expect to make a deep playoff run after watching that? He looked legitimately scared out there, bailing out of the hard areas and getting knocked on his ass all week.
