Morrissey, Doughty, Toews, Parayko, Sanheim, Harley.. nice win of course but Canada being out half a defense did show itself a bit.
And the US doesn’t have Quinn Hughes so what’s your point?Morrissey, Doughty, Toews, Parayko, Sanheim, Harley.. nice win of course but Canada being out half a defense did show itself a bit.
This wasn't against Latvia boys...they simply dominated Canada.
Guentzel has no place in the top 6, he handicaps the elite skill guys. But also doesn’t really fit the bottom 6. Sullivan for ya though.
I'd like to apologize to Mike Sullivan, maybe the penguins just stink. He's managed the line combos, d pairings, ice times, and matchups to near perfection so far.
Sully’s awesome. It always pissed me off that the Bruins sucked so bad when he was here. He deserved better.I'd like to apologize to Mike Sullivan, maybe the penguins just stink. He's managed the line combos, d pairings, ice times, and matchups to near perfection so far.
Hear me out.
Depending on how the early game tomorrow goes, USA could lose, and by lose I mean pulling the goalie late, against sweden, and deny Canada a shot at the finals.
Imagine the rage.
That's the position Canada finds themselves in.
Death..Taxes..and Canadian excuses when they lose a hockey game.
Last night is proof positive why Larkin should be 3C. Such an underrated two way player. He works pretty well with Boldy. If M. Tkachuk is out, Larkin has some history with Kreider in the WC when they beat Canada with McDavid, I think twice.Thought Trocheck made some nice defensive plays, and was good on the PK. Neither Miller nor Larkin stood out at all. Not easy to do in a limited role but life ain’t fair
So the last two best on best WJC’s during lockouts you lost, the first best on best at the NHL level since Russia you lost. The USMNTDP has changed the footing of this rivalry coming on the heels of the Miracle on Ice and the 96’ World Cup. Major events generations of US players reference. Be happy it took almost 4 decades to get here, that actually says a lot about Canada. It’s time to stop making excuses and acknowledge we are not inferior and the Canada B team can beat everyone crap has been dead for a while.Morrissey, Doughty, Toews, Parayko, Sanheim, Harley.. nice win of course but Canada being out half a defense did show itself a bit.
