We’ll see if we see them together at even strength, but right now we should see them together on the power play. The 1st power play line was Crosby-McDavid-MacKinnon-Reinhart-Makar at practice.
Only except that Russian athletes represent Russia. Letting them compete while Russia’s invading Ukraine isn’t just tone-deaf, it gives that POS a free pass to look good on the world stage. It’s not about the players personally invading Ukraine, but about denying a platform to Russia and the f***head that's running it. Simple as that.

They're not different brands, it's still TRUE pads, just with the "L" from Lefevre (the designer of the pads).
But in his case the L stands for something else.

Bettman will one day catch up to what most hockey fans already know: at the international, best on best level, nothing comes close to the Olympics.
Can the Habs still practice during this time? If not, I don’t know why they didn’t just activate Reinbacher and send him down to practice with Laval. I get that he’s still on IR, but he’s got to be close enough if he was already skating with the Habs (which I think he is). I’m not saying put him into a game yet. Now the guy might lose another 2 weeks of getting back into shape.

i don't know anyone who wants the All-Star game either. We want to see 'all nations' not this dumbed down version. The people not playing is insane, they could make another world team
Pastrňák, Nečas, Hronek, Vejmelka, Dostál, Gudas etc for Czechia, Hischier, Josi, Fiala, Siegenthaler for Swiss or Draisaitl, Stutzle and Peterka for Germany.

Would be better for sure. Russia can't play because of political reasons. And that bigger prioirity hurts the hockey.
I would have liked to have seen not a team Europe, but a unified team of the nations with the best players left off, so a Czech, Slovakia, Swiss, and German alliance team...

Without the support of the IIHF this will never work. Svlovakia and Czechia should be there.

They don't represent russia when they play in the NHL though. Russia not being there is fine as long as NHL does the same if another country annex iced lands by force either economic or military. Slovakia and Czechia not being there is a farce though that's for sure. Even germany and swiss should be there i mean you make a tournament where Draisaitl, Stutzle, Seider, Hischier, Meier and Josi can't play it's a joke.
The emotion will come once the games start. The first missed call, controversial play or highlight reel goal in CAN-USA and people will get invested.
