But still, I understand why Binnington is on this team. I just don't understand why he's not further down the depth chart.

I don't understand why Trocheck is here. Trocheck to me seems like a reserve that you'd call up when a couple of forwards are injured or questionable.

Jack is a phenomenal skater. Literally trained by figure skaters. He only falls down in certain spots because he is attempting to make insane cuts and turns that most players can’t even to attempt to try. He pulls it off all the time and it doesn’t get any recognition because you take it for granted. The few times he falls in a game its like the worst thing in the world to the people who don’t even realize the incredible skate work he puts in every single night. Its the same narrative about players who always have the puck on their sticks giving the puck away a lot. Its because they always have the puck and are trying to make brilliant passes that not everyone can pull off. I DESPISE those narratives.

Not one bit impressed with Hellebuyck tonight. He's playing a lot like Binnington did in last week's game. Short side, too much room up there.

And the coaching staff of this team sucks. Sullivan is coasting on reputation. The fact that he coaches a bunch of old men in Pittsburgh probably makes him look better.
