I saw a comment that was like they played Saturday like it was game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals but the real game 7 is Thursday. Just hoping they didn't blow the tank already and can still pull out the win.

Happy for Bratt either way, getting player of the game is pretty significant memory for life, plus the game winner.

I think they showed his Mom in the crowd after his goal. I'm not sure....

If Canada wins in regulation the USA vs Sweden game means absolutely nothing cause USA clinched the #1 seed already and Sweden would be eliminated.

It really should be a good game since Canada and Finland both know they have to win to advance to the final.

Forgot to respond to this but I'll just point out that I could care less about the tournament and who would win it.

I just wanted a fun hockey game or two....

The Canada/Fin game looked one-sided until the Fins almost pulled a miracle out of their ass in the end there.


The USA/Sweden game WAS FUN like I hoped.

And Jesper Bratt was the star of that game.

And even better : He finished that tournament *HEALTHY*.


Hope he brings those good vibes (and offense) this Saturday.

Technically he kind of bumped into Haula too, but they probably didn't count it as a hit. Either way it is pretty funny his two most physical moments were against teammates.

exactly the same thinking. not to mention the building yesterday was kinda a dud didn't see many american jerseys which also doesn't help they are so dark in color.

Yes, Sullivan already mentioned that they will be working on a contingency plan in case guys can't play, so they are able to call in reinforcements if it looks like they'll be short. Teams were also supposed to return to practice on Thursday, so players will also be around versus away on vacation.

I think they said something like if 3 players are out they could call someone in but you would think they would have to do it today since the rest of the league is back at practice today.
