To me they are just boring, for whatever reason it seems USA in general, including in soccer always pick blue/navy as the dominate color and I'd rather see a color scheme that is equally red, white and blue.

You could definitely make the case for Trocheck. I won't do it because he's a rag, but it's not that crazy considering the role.
