I was really thinking all game that Marner is NOT the player I'd play with Connor McDavid.
With how McDavid brings the puck to the net I'd use him with Sam Bennett and Reinhart.
I'm not sure how much thought was given to keeping Hyman paired with him but I remember when Chris Kunitz was kept to play with Crosby and scored that Monumental goal against Sweden in the gold medal game.

Incredible to finally see McDavid, McKinnon, Crosby, Makar, etc.. on the national team.

And great that the players are into the games - look at the way Canada celebrated, and the looks on the faces of the Swedish player.

Great to have international hockey back, and to find something instead of the all star game, at least every other year (Olympics and world cup).

Yeah, I'm thinking who are the most like Draisaitl and Hyman. Might as well have kept Hyman and then the Draisatl replacement is either McKinnon or Stone, or Point's double threat as a shooter and passer.

i like the idea of having McKinnon and McDavid on different lines. But I also want to bring them together and not just in OT.

There is no better atmosphere than a hockey game in Montreal. You wouldn't get this crowd in Toronto

As a Pens fan I would have to agree. You guys have the best atmosphere in hockey and I don't think it's particularly close. Very raucous fans.

Would have liked to have seen Crosby and Hedman lead their teams to a handshake after the game.

Good game by Marchand. He made us all proud.

Crosby is the real MVP and should be the #1 center. McNothing got nothing on him even at 37 years old.

I'm glad that we are getting back some respect as a city. This is the best place on earth to play hockey.
