That game was like olympics in Turin. Grab all the old timers like Sakic, Rob Blake, Pronger. Everybody over 30 years old. They should have younger player even if they had a worse predigree

Was anyone good upfront other than McDavid/Point? I love Reinhart's game but he looks extremely out of place on his line. Our bottom 6 is very meh other than Point. Crosby had a tough one too but he just isn't a winger.

The concept of team is higher with the US. Canada has a bunch of great solo artists.

Difference in this game was the Crosby turnover...

we're missing Makar, Theodore, Pietrangelo, half our starting blue line. U.s. only missing Hughes. I think Makar and Theodore could have perhaps made a difference creating openings from the back end...

I'm glad the lines were switched up...

we have no scoring depth on a best on best tourney. we didn't score on our pp and we didn't look like the best team on the ice. we had the best player, probably 2 players, but the U.S. goalie and d played better.

Really would be nice when down a goal to be able to toss out some young talent instead of hagel/marchand type of guys. Marchand is done. great career and a hell of a player, but he looks like a slightly more talented gallagher on the ice.

it's embarrassing scheifele isn't on this team. he's better than half the line up, and he brings the same skill set as the bottom 6 guys. makes zero sense.

Better depth. Maybe because of the choices. Suzuki is better than Larkin for example.

Great game. Not the result we wanted but it was a high qualiber hockey in Montreal. Hopefully this brings some positive light to our city. I'm sure the players noticed.

"Taxes" won't be a reason why they refuse to come here.
