I was watching the game between Canada and the U.S. Sadly, Canada was losing 2-1 in the 3rd. Disappointed, I turned to watch Frontline - a documentary on PBS. Well, God punished me for turning my back on our ladies because :

1) The Documentary (about prison solitary confinement) was (literally) stomach turning;
2) I missed Canada's comeback.

You turned off a Canadian hockey game? task task, shame on you.
I watched the whole thing and was rewarded with the win.

Two even teams talent wise. I was happy to see the Canadian women were skating, controlling the puck and hustling just as good as the Americans. What won that game for us was our hustle and their lack of discipline. Which is usually a Canadian problem.

Now if only Canada Black shows what they're made of today at 3pm against the Americans in the Under 17.

Reminded of Sochi. That was a good hockey game. Didn't really like the call at the end since less than 5 mins left and a tied game but you can't do that in Women's hockey.

2-2 now. Great play from Spooner to Wakefield. Surprised Wakefield got off a shot like that. Just a bomb to the top corner.

Canada wins!!!! Shouldn't have gone to a shootout but still a win, Hilary Knight a top player stopped. Great performance by Canada.

Canada looked a bit slow but when they had their chances they did well.

What a game. Shootout was crazy. Way to go Lacasse and Brianne Jenner in the shootout. Canada remains undefeated on home ice for the 4 Nations Cup.

Fantastic game & the shoot out winning goal for Canada was sweet.

This was almost as good as the womens Olympic Canada win over the U.S.

Watched from start to end right to 2 in the morning in my hotel!

Wow, what an exciting game. Got very tense for a while, but Canada dominated in the shootout. Strong performance on both sides.

It was called back, because there was a delayed penalty on the US, and they touched the puck. Unfortunate, but was the right call.

I was massively shaking the bed pretty well every time US had the puck in our end. 3rd and OT, but especially OT. (And when they hit the post; yikes! Big resemblance to the Olympic game)

To their credit, the U.S. was GREAT in the 3rd period yesterday. I was pleasantly shocked Canada was able to hold on.
