2 of the top 6 in the NHL for goals scored the last 3 seasons:
Point
Reinhart

Hope they show up soon. The biggest highlight tonight for Reinhart was losing his man on the first goal and Points was being fed wide open on the PP and choking out a non chance.
Kinda hilarious that Reinhart has some voodoo 30% shooting magic on Florida for 2 seasons and immediately loses it now

Hopefully he gets back into form on Monday

I was underwhelmed with McDavid as well. Nice burst of speeds in the neutral zone, also scored a nice goal, but other than that completely invisible. This team sucks and it was clearly manufactured by a group of coaches with obvious bias for their own players. I mean Hagel, Cirelli, and Sanheim should be nowhere near a Canadian team.

I think you have to remember this is the first experience for most of these guys on Canada and it's a different animal from the playoffs. Having your country watching you is the ultimate pressure cooker....and no one feels it more than Canadians.

Some are handling it better than others.

Especially when you Have Schieflle sitting at home

he makes boneheaded plays more often than not in important games. almost a decade of us watching him and we still get shocked LMAO
More disappointed than shocked I'd say. The play there was to take it around the net and reset. Lots of time and space over there... granted, if he was on the ice with Matthews, that was prob at min a shot on goal.

It's funny how orange snowflakes can force feed politics into everything. Maybe talk about hockey.
Trudeau was literally at the game. Carney was posting on social media while watching the game (with an american beer and american Team Canada jersey no less). This game was all about politics. It wasn't conceived that way, but the timing made it that way.

wait I was told yesterday that sports ARE political... and snowflakes lol nice appropriation. The left can't meme.
It was always projection my friend, the more you know!

None of what you wrote magically makes it political, it's still a game dude.
