I could see Ottawa in the mix if they miss the playoffs and Brady asks out.
What does Skinner going to Ottawa have to do with Brady ?

If Brady wants out Jeffrey f***ing Skinner isn't going to be part of the return, or "help" sens fans cope with the almost certain loss of a deal..

Jeff Skinner has never played for the Edmonton Oilers. He is currently a forward for the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL. Skinner has been with the Sabres since being traded to the team in 2018 from the Carolina Hurricanes.

However, if you're asking hypothetically about how he might fit in Edmonton or if there's been speculation about him joining the team, I can say that Skinner is a skilled winger known for his goal-scoring ability. He could complement a high-powered offense like Edmonton’s, especially with stars like Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. His ability to finish plays and generate offense could potentially add depth to the Oilers' forward group. However, this remains purely speculative as of now.

Well yeah...Chat GPT doesn't have any info past April 2024, so that checks out.

I just saw Skinner and Arvidsson have a COMBINED 11pts so far this year in 18 games. Yikes. So much for those two high prized signings.
RNH and Hyman have 4 goals combined.
Fact that Brett Fn Kulak has more goals than all of Hyman, Skinner, Arvidsson and Nuge for Oilers

Nobody really wanted him to start with, but who would want him now that he's got the Oilers' stink on him?

Ok I like roasting teams as much as the next guy but the oilers were literally 2 goals away from a cup last year I think most teams don't mind what that smells like. Good joke if it was 2014 though.

2026 1st + Skinner for Pettersson. Sounds good to me.

We'd need the deal least dollar in dollar out. Not sure how others would see it. It's possible if Skinner went on waivers he'd be claimed. It's possible the management has no interest in moving him. It's possible a team would give a late pick for him. Honestly on that I don't know. He had another offer on the table and it was said other teams were interested.

I can see Pittsburgh aim for a 2025 1st for Pettersson, I'm not sure they could pull it. I see his deadline value as a 2nd and near NHL ready prospect from the general consensus in his ongoing thread which was with 50% retention. I have him in the 2-2nds or 2nd + prospect area @50% also. With the 1st being a year out if a small add came from Pittsburgh side I wouldn't hate it.

Let’s be real they lost that series in the first 3 games. No chance they were coming back after that but it’s a nice thought

I think getting a 1st is definitely the number one goal for Pittsburgh.

Maybe if that + with the 2nd is good. I would be interested in a NHL ready prospect if they were drafted and projecting to be in a realm of a 1st. But usually those are not for sale.

He has a full NMC. So he has final say in where he goes and I do not see him waiving it for the teams mentioned. Oiler fans can wish upon a star
