MP had some pretty good stretches last year. Everyone just remembers that one rough stretch he had. He was solid before that

I think the difference now is that MP looks like he's having a noticeable impact defensively, instead of his solid stretches from last year that were just "we don't see him".

Jake is constantly out of position in defensive zone, they have been skating by him all night long
