That Zack MacEwen sees ANY ice time 6v4 speaks volumes to how up their own asses everyone is. Fluff it up however you want, the try hard fetish is alive and well.

The f***er got more ice time than Allison and Laczynski, who are supposed to be the future. The total tone deafness of this organization truly astonishes me. Let the young guys play and play them often. Send MacEwan back to Lehigh and leave him there never to return.

Well to be fair Des didn't fight this game. Surely the Flyers would have won had they found that tough to play attitude that can only be achieved after a meaningless fight. I mean if Des is willing to put his mental health on the line the Flyers better be winning you know what I'm saying?

Terrible play by Seeler on the third goal and a weak one by Sandstrom on the fourth but they were outplayed top.

I also don't understand the love for MacEwen to give him.that much ice team and to put him out there 6 on 4

John LeClair didn't break out until MacEwen's age. Just takes the bigger guys more time to fill in to their bodies. As long as he keeps fighting, the goals will come.

I missed the last two games, but do they ever play in the OZ at ES? I know the Corsi numbers but I’d like to know raw possession time in the OZ. Watching your team defend all night is not my idea of entertainment.

They seem to be better in some regards, but it’s still the same issues. The cycle is a bit better, but even when opportunities present themselves, they can’t execute. There is zero creativity in this forward group.

Stepped it up in the latter half of his last preseason game, and had a nice regular season opener, but I've barely noticed him since. I mean, I forget he's even on the team type of invisible.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him sent to the AHL for more minutes, especially with Sedlak claimed. Not going to last long as a depth player without showing more energy.

They obviously had way too many mistakes and have a ton of areas to work on, but they never quit when they had every excuse to.

Last season's team would have given up early and mailed it in.

Last season's team started the season 7-2-1.

Another game right in line with the previous three. Completely dominated at 5v5.

TDA seems like he could be my kind of hockey player on the ice but then he doesn't quite get there. Like I loved when Timonen would attack puck carriers on odd man rushes because he managed to lock down the pass too; dude played shot and pass all the time. TDA attacks the puck carrier but seems to always leave the pass wide open which then turns it into a mini breakaway.

Dmen have forward support in their zone again, but there's still obviously massive confusion on assignments. Unsure how much of it is fixable and how much is on playerbrains that aren't up to snuff.
