The Flyers coaches believe Farabee, Konecny, JVR, Hayes, TDA, Laughton is the best 6v4 unit they have. That they’re probably almost right speaks volumes to the talent.

That Zack MacEwen sees ANY ice time 6v4 speaks volumes to how up their own asses everyone is. Fluff it up however you want, the try hard fetish is alive and well.

Not discouraged at all.

They obviously had way too many mistakes and have a ton of areas to work on, but they never quit when they had every excuse to.

Last season's team would have given up early and mailed it in.

They're missing Chuck's shooter. Just wait until Tippett comes back; everything's coming up roses.

As for Olczyk making a not-so-subtle gambling reference, that seems to be encouraged now with all of the industry tie-ins to betting services.

In addition to Al Michaels, Brent Musburger used to allude to gambling lines quite often in his broadcasts, in an era when it wasn't so accepted on tv.
