the full quote from Deboer on Larsson

“He’s a young defenseman,†DeBoer said. “I thought he had an exceptional training camp and he hasn’t had a great start to the season. That’s just the bottom line. When you have a guy like Mark Fayne, who was playing 20 minutes a night in the Stanley Cup Final less than two years ago sitting there, those are decisions that you sit as a coach on a nightly basis and evaluate people. You have to do what’s right.†- See more at: http://blogs.northjersey.com/blogs/..._chance_against_canucks/#sthash.m6zTKp1Y.dpuf
Praising Fayne....hahahahaa

Can we all take a step back here. We have played three games two of which we should have won. The other being opening night in Pitt were we spotted them 2 goals. 6 new forwards in lineup and new goalie rotation If we won the two shoot outs you would all be saying that we r off Tia great start. Lay off debeor he is juggling 5 lines of forwards and 7 healthy d and 2 more that could be here. We have not had a good night in net yet and already everyone thinks debeor should be fired not to mention he has lost his 3 best offensive players In past 2 years. Give the man a break he is a good coach. And as much as you all have a hard in for josefson the man w 5 career goals he isn't the second coming. He will get his chance it's a long season

None of that is actually wrong. Larsson has not played well and he is right about Fayne even if I don't believe he actually thinks that (because why is Harrold still playing?)

Just there are guys who have played worse then Larsson and he needs to play to work out his kinks. Constantly benching him isn't going to make him hungrier despite what Pete seems to think.

nope. I never said he wouldn't be in the lineup.

I did, however, say he wouldn't get 60 points.

ya did actually. maybe not directly, but you sold him short and laughed at those who thought he could be something. and with the way he and brunner are playing and the way zajac looks, he may outscore him lol. that would make my year.

I never once said Lokti SHOULD be out of the lineup. never. do not put words in my mouth.

Where is Deb's messy road hair?!? AGAIN it is to nice.

Man Cory is such a ginger. I really hate how overplayed this Cory vs Lou story. Hope they tweet back and forth during the game.

he's praising fayne, puts him on the first pairing tonight....yet he was benched for the first 3 games. i know he's a lawyer, but enough of the ********.

and won half of them. even if his fo% drops to 40-45% it'll have a marginal effect on the team bc he doesn't take many draws or important defensive zone draws. the idea that it was a major concern holding him back was laughable.

Actually - the idea that he was what he was and there was no room for improvement was laughable.

He gave up a soft goal and a terrible rebound that lead to a goal and gave a quality scoring chance because of piss poor puck handling last game he played.

And Brodeur gave up 3 soft goals against the Isles so whatever

If anyone wants to bet posting rights on who will end the season with a higher faceoff% between Loktionov and Zajac, let me know.
