Crazy stat: Chris Kreider is now NYR's all time leader in playoff goals. That doesn't seem right, somehow.

I'm not trying to clap too hard at the Rangers but that doesn't surprise me at all. The NYR are probably the NHL's best definition of mediocrity. I have a right mind to start a "1 since '40" chant and this spell Kreider has been on with them has seen him play so much playoff hockey that it was almost inevitable. The record is 34 goals. It's astonishing how terrible that is for a team that's like 100 years old and has had THAT MANY great players on it. Kucherov by himself has 52....

I realized this last night. Apparently they aren't. WatchESPN, yes, but that requires you have a cable provider login for ESPN. But ESPN+...nope.

We realistically stand a chance of giving up 4 goals by the end of the 1st period alone because we're probably gonna trudge out there and half ass it with like 32% effort and sit there all "Surprised Pikachu" that we have to give a reasonable effort. Then once we pull our heads out of our asses we're all gonna lament why we didn't just give the necessary effort to begin with
