If Chicago loved Lev so much, they could have drafted Demidov and traded back in for him. They did it backwards.
And why exactly are we so certain that Levshunov would’ve lasted long enough to trade back up? Or are we just making up scenarios to justify being unhinged about things for no reason

I'm not paying Bennett top dollar with term given the type of game he plays and he's a 50 point forward, that contract might age like milk
50 point forward playing down the lineup on a loaded team. Also trusted to play on championship club and national teams. Funny this guy isn’t wanted when the “I’m mad at these vets” sentiment exists.

Well Vlasic was a 1 just a few weeks ago. So maybe we all pump the brakes on calling these guys “generational” until they establish themselves and show consistency.

Rinzel is obviously not a true #1 right now, he has played like five games. But he’s also showing great form in this limited time.
