This is a great thing to be honest, to have a few short term injuries. We need to get back to earth and play a team game that we haven't seen in 3 years. Meat and potatoes roster that doesnt look impressive but we grind out a win. During the rebuild, players were playing for themselves and young players were trying to secure their job which is fine. We've been stuck on the "If KZB, Bread and Butter lines don't strike 3 times, we lose" program for too long. There should be a team game victory approach and the top end offense that show up as a bonus. With only scoring off the rush and highlight reel plays, no matter how much talent you have (not that we have a ton tbh), it's a 85-90 point team tops. This is exactly what we needed.

It's all so tiresome
It is early but he certainly hasn't looked like himself, and im not talking about the points. But his skating looks sluggish, he's not the zone exit and entry machine he usually is. Of course it's very early so we'll see where it goes but I just hope he starts looking more like himself soon.

Really hope Laf can build on his game from Saturday. If this team is going to go anywhere, we need him and Kakko to produce like top 6 guys.

I didn't watch last game but why the f*** is McKegg in for Morgan Barron at center? Coaches REALLY love their predictably bad players. Just f***ing awful.
