Frequently what looks good on paper is not what works in actuality.

In the old days, you used to be able to put top players together and it would almost always work well. Now it's much more difficulty. Crosby has played some of his best hockey between Dupuis and Kennedy.

We will have to see if PA Parenteau outscores everyone on our team again, that "dime-a-dozen" player.
 
This whole thing is just so The New York Rangers. Amazing how this organization almost always manages to land flat on it's back.

Well, as a smart man once said: "One man's fate is another man's fortune." Hopefully our core players can pull together and really get out there and play for each other. After looking at the video of Nash being hit by a pretty ordinary check, it really raised some big questions. Is this why he seemed so timid in last years play offs? My gut tells me he's gone for a long spell and may never be the player he once was.

I truly hope I'm wrong about that.

I think at this point it's a little early for that. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't have the same concerns somewhere in the back of my mind. It would be VERY concerning if that Stuart hit caused him to miss any significant amount of time. I get that in general teams are much more cautious with head injuries...but that hit was honestly not that bad.

Lines look ... well yeah, where the citrus at?

But nothing is impossible, if we win, it's because the Ducks goalies will choke!

LGR !!! I wont stay up tonight though, maybe that's the lucky charm.

It's a loss, but Richards has been hot, Cally will find the back of the net before long, and we're getting offense from our D.

There's a way to win this game.
 
Expectations are as low as can be, which actually means I'm going into this game pretty calm and not really invested in the outcome - almost a nice change, until you remember the cause - but I'd like to see a lot more EFFORT from the team, and I'll be happy regardless of the scoreboard. On the other hand, after the last game, I'll be kind of disappointed if this is a low scoring game. I want to see goals! Seeing 11 last game spoiled me.
